Concrete Exercise
by Geri Walton ~ January 5th, 2009
If you really want to lose weight and keep it off, it may depend on why you’re pounding the concrete. Researchers found exercisers who wrote down concrete ideas and action strategies, such as jogging with friends, taking a new class, or listening to music, had more fun and exercised longer than exercisers who wrote down abstract ideas, such as, “I want to lose weight.” So, if you’re pounding the pavement, make sure your list is as concrete as the path under your feet.
A person who is wise beyond their years and of strong emotional stability. Someone who has more understanding of the world around them.

I’m just about to cancel my gym membership as I’m bored with my fitness routine for the last three years. I’m not sure if I will join another one where they have more classes or just do as you say and hit the pavement on my own. (or with a friend)

Great tips! Thanks so much. It really is true. To have and even write down some smaller, attainable, yet specific goals… it makes the mark much easier to reach! I’m looking forward to a great year!
