Hi Geri,
Hope you had a nice relaxing Christmas.
I enjoyed this article - I have been suffering from hot flashes for quite some time now due to an early hysterectomy. I have tried Black Cohosh which seems to help, but will definitely try some of your suggestions.
Have a great day today!

I went into full blown menopause at 46. I had massive hot flashes every 15 minutes. I literally could NOT function.
I was put on a hormone patch with estradiol and projesterone.
I’m thinking of switching over the bio-identicals…..should I?

Charmaine:
I’m not a doctor, and I would never advise switching or discontinuing any medications your doctor has given you. I can, however, find information about bioidenticals and let you know both the good and the bad. Once you have that information, you can make a more informed decision about whether or not you want to switch. I will create a post on bioidenticals soon.
