Papayas are fabulous to eat, beneficial to your health, and just as fabulous when applied topically to your skin. They nourish your skin with Vitamin A to increase and speed up new cell growth, and they’re also filled with beta-carotene, which helps to promote and protect the skin’s elasticity. When used as a peel, papayas fight aging because they reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and large pores.

You don’t even have to get fancy. You can just slice one open and use the pulp to make an instant and excellent face scrub, skin polisher, or exfoliator. If you have combination or oily skin, papaya will help. Just deseed, mash, and apply it for up to 15 minutes. It works miracles, and you’ll end up with a fabulous glow.   1. Mix the following
    • ¼ papaya (seeded and mashed)
    • 1 tsp. honey
    • 1 tsp. cream
    • 1 tsp egg white
    • ¼ tsp almond oil
  2. Apply to clean skin for 15 minutes
  3. Rinse with warm water
  4. Apply day or nighttime moisturizer

This easy papaya peel will leave your skin baby soft, just like a newborn’s skin.

  1. In a blender add the following:
    • 1/2 cup fresh papaya (seeded and peeled)
    • 1 cup fresh pineapple
  2. Puree and then add
    • 1 T honey
  3. Puree until it is a smooth paste
  4. Apply for up to 20 minutes
  5. Rinse

Want buttery soft skin? Then use this no-scrub recipe and apply everywhere.

  1. Dissolve 3 T of water in 1 small package of non-flavored gelatin over low heat
  2. Mash and add 1 ripe papaya to the gelatin mixture
  3. Cook thoroughly
  4. Strain and cool
  5. Apply for 15 minutes
  6. Rinse with warm water
