  1. Stand straight and keep yourself centered between your front and back legs with each step.
  2. As you step reach with the heel of the leading foot and push off with the toes from the trailing foot.
  3. Tighten your buttocks to improve momentum.
  4. Let your arms swing naturally.
  5. Concentrate on walking. If you don’t concentrate, you naturally slow down.
