Japanese researchers have discovered a free-radical-fighting antioxidant that may encourage fat-burning and enhance muscle endurance as you exercise. According to the researchers, who published their findings in the Journal of Biochemical & Biophysical Research Communcations, mice who received doses of astaxanthin regularly showed increased stamina and lost more body fat than mice not receiving the doses.
If you want to burn body fat and build stamina, you can eat the same thing the mice did by consuming these items regularly in your diet:
- Egg yolks
- Leafy green vegetables
You can also buy astaxanthin in supplements. If you do, take between 2-4 mg per day with a meal.
